The new Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential is now available and you can obtain their required coach specific training through the College of Executive Coaching, one of the few training programs approved by the Center for Credentialing and Education for this credential.

Master's Level Counselors, MSWs and Ph.D. level professionals in the behavioral health fields may now apply for the the Board Certified Coach (BCC) Credential from the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE).

We have researched this new credential, the Board Certified Coach, and recommend that you investigate this BCC credential because the granting organization, CCE, takes into account your advanced, graduate level education you already have so only requires relatively minimal additional coach specific training. How to Become a Board Certified Coach

The College of Executive Coaching is a BCC founding CCE-approved coach training provider and has designed training options specifically to enable you to complete the training in time. You may complete your training in-person or via a distance learning option.

BCC for Counselors and Psychologists

The Board Certified Coach Credential is offered by the Center for Credentialing and Education.

Professionals with a Master's Degree in Counseling or a Doctoral Degree in a Behavioral Field already have significant training. Hence only 30 hours of additional coach specific training is required to obtain this credential.

If you have a Master's Degree in Counseling or a Doctorate in a Behavioral Field the Center for Credentialing and Education states that to obtain their BCC Credential you must complete 30 Hours of Coach Specific Training from a CCE Approved Provider.

BCC for Social Workers

The Board Certified Coach Credential is offered by the Center for Credentialing and Education.

Professionals with a Master's of Social Work Degree already have significant training. Hence only 60 hours of additional coach specific training is required to obtain this credential.

If you have a Master's of Social Work Degree the Center for Credentialing and Education states that to obtain their BCC Credential you must complete 60 Hours of Coach Specific Training from a CCE Approved Provider.

Virtual Intensive and Weekly Follow-up Classes (62-hour Curriculum)

Step One: Attend our 6-day, 44-hour, Virtual Intensive Coach Training Program.

Step Two: Complete Three Video On-Demand Coach Training Courses

Completed after the virtual intensive training so you will have a total of 62 hours of coach specific training (additional tuition). This meets your education requirements so are you eligible to apply for the Board Certified Coach Credential through the Center for Credentialing and Education.
